Criminals stop work

I should explain  - I was not trying to say that the criminals stop working what I was trying to explain was that G was so busy arresting people that he had to work late and by the time he got home it was too late to get any work done.  Once the light has gone its very difficult to mix plaster in the dark outside.  In the end he did a half hour of pottering and getting stuff ready for more plastering.

I am writing this remotely tonight as I a have been working away from home and stayed with my parents tonight as it is my Dad's 88th birthday.  We had a lovely evening and had a curry feast.  He had a lovely birthday and it was great to spend time with them both.

I spoke to G earlier and he sounds pretty burnt out and coming down with a cold.  I wish I was home to look after him.
