I finally got home late tonight. G has done an amazing job completing lots of finishing job. Finished painting the walls in the stairwell, hung two radiators on the wall, finished the lights in the dressing room, did some work on the airing cupboard at the top of the stairs and fitted the banister rail.
Despite working today and then completing all this when I got home I found him fixing Mums i-pod docking station. He really doesn't stop. The docking station was much loved by Mum and it stopped working G did some detective work and a bit of research and discovered it needed a new capacitor. H
e ordered one from ebay for 99p dismantled the machine and fitted it. Its working brilliantly now and G turned it on full blast and we had a dance round the kitchen just to test it. Mum you will be pleased to know its fixed and will be coming back to you so

Wow Annie & G it's looking fab!! Get you with a 'dressing room' ;) Looking forward to see you tomorrow for birthday meal - sorry can't make the murder mystery :( Marathon training getting in way of social life! Great name for B&B by the way :) xx

ReplyDeleteMogs - Yeah I did feel a bit up myself saying dressing room it is just a large wardrobe :-) Last night was fab - go on come over tonight and do the double! You did Disney Marathon how much harder can it be than that :-)
ReplyDeleteJen - I think G was impressed with his fixing skills he has now gone on to ebay and found the same make and model i pod charger that broken in the same way and bought it cheap to fix it! as he has some spare capacitors - they came in packs of 4. As if he doesn't have enough to do at the moment!
