Exciting times for us on site as tonight we started painting the loft walls white. It might not be so exciting for our blog readers and unfortunately the next few days posts will just be about painting, For us is marks a crucial stage in the loft and it starts to transform from a building space to a bedroom. Its also great for me to finally get really involved again although G constantly worries that I may step in the paint pot. If he hears any noise that could sound remotely like my foot going in the paint pot he drops his brush to check me out.
The photos tonight so us both in full swing painting. We managed to get the whole of the room done with the first coat. Plan is to do second coat tomorrow and third and final coat if needed on Thursday evening. So some busy evenings lie ahead. We are eating meals from the freezer as we have no time left to cook. We are on a painting mission! We are both finally crashed in front of the fire - G has had to resort to white wine as we are a bit behind with the food shopping.

Happy Painters :) Did you guys lose a lot of clothes to the paint? It's kind of a hip look though, right? :)You must be nearly finished with the whole project! I do like the brick arch, it's very fancy and adds character.
ReplyDeleteYeah we lost loads of clothes to painting and building - but have to say they were all clothes that needed loosing! We are so not nearly finished with the whole project - I like your optimism :-). We have a lot more work to do and you will have a lot more reading ha ha x
