I managed to wire up 16 down lights this evening, as well as a few sockets and light switches. The room is really starting to take shape. Low ceiling and being tall made me able to do it all without steps, therefore a lot easier.
After her long day, Annie also managed to purchase some tiles which are to be fitted on the top of the boxing over the
stairs. The tiles are ceramic (very hard!) but look just like oak. So we manage to keep up the theme through the house, as well as ensuring the area will not get stained. As this is the area we imagine we would set tea and coffee making facilities for a B&B.... Or my glass of red when I go to bed!
We eventually finished just after 7pm, and Annie cooked me yet another fab tea, love her to bits.
You guys are officially the cutest couple ever. I still want to know what you're going to do with all of your extra time onces you're done with the re-model? I'm in awe of how quickly you're getting everything done too! Hope the weather is treating you nice, it's going to be -30 degrees tonight here. BRRRRR.
ReplyDeleteAww bless they are soo the best couple!! G should have mentioned the tea and coffee/wine area could also be home to the odd glass of cointreau nightcap for Annie ;)
