That was easy!

Unfortunately I am not referring to the work that G did this evening.  Which was a never ending nightmare!  He has been rubbing down the flaky paint and sanding and filling.  I was away in London for the day so by the time I got back he had already been for a sea pool swim and I didn't have to endure any of the heartache about those pesky walls.

The easy bit was getting G to agree to the paint I had in mind for some of the feature walls.  For a while I have been mentioned to him that I wanted one of the walls to be purple/lilac/mauve.  I have had an exact colour in mind but have been finding it really hard to describe.  He has been hating the idea and said that he was really not keen on it.  So tonight on the way back from the train station I stopped to get some colour charts and started preparing my sales talk to persuade him it was the right colour.  It was all unnecessary preparation though as soon as I showed it to him he said it looked great!  I feel a bit cheated I was up for a bit of persuading.  Oh well will have to save my persuading for something else...mmm what else do I need
