The front bedroom - almost complete! (except for carpet etc)

There has been a lot more renovating than blogging going on in our house - hence I am a little behind with the blogging.  I am going to try and catch up this morning with three blogs that should just about cover it all.  G is still in bed and I am hope to get it all written before he comes down.  We went for a stroll down the beach last night before supper with a bottle of wine and met some friends on the beach and ended up in the pub and didn't manage to get back home for supper until 10pm.

Its also our six year anniversary today (from the day we met) and I have bought him a little card.  I have just been up to fetch it so it would be waiting for him when he got down and realise I have made a horrendous mistake with it.  On the front it says "The best thing to hold onto in life is each other" which I thought was a lovely sentiment but inside it says "Congratulations on your engagement!" .  He will hate it!  I have just sorted it out stuck a piece of card over it  - he will never know... until he reads the blog :-)   This is all delaying me trying to write three posts before he gets up!

So in a nutshell the front bedroom is almost complete all we need is the plantation shutters that are on order and should come in a couple of weeks and take G an afternoon to install and the carpet.  Then we need to put the bed back in (that I am going to lime wash) and build some flat pack units then .....ta da!  At the moment it has become a dumping ground for all the furniture from the other bedroom we are doing currently.  Here are the pics - I am loving the light grey colour we choose for the wall.  Actually 'we' didn't choose it I spent ages persuading G that grey would be good and he finally gave in :-).
