The great thing about the party is that it really has bought the street together. It has helped me to get to know a lot more of my neighbours and know there names and has really bought a stronger sense of community.
I have loved everything about being part of the organisation and the day itself. All the work we did towards the event seemed to be really good fun, making bunting, collecting photos, talking to the neighbours. I don't would have been so successful it it weren't for Sue whose idea it was and who has the perfect organising style. She has a relaxed organisation style that just works brilliantly. I am very grateful that she had the idea.

Looks like you had a great time and the weather cooperated! Not sure how dead bodies fit in? :) We've had rain and snow all weekend. Johnny's Bday had to be held inside but it was still fun. He got COVERED head to toe in chocolate cake, despite wearing a full-body bib. It's great you got to know the folks on your street, it makes a house a home to have a nice neighborhood surrounding it. Thanks for sharing the pix Annie!
